A Brief History;

Thomas Charles Desroches,
Only child born in Penetanguishene, Ontario, Canada.
Father Charles Desroches (Born and raised in Penetanguishene) worked as a Registered Practical Nurse at the Maximum Secure Psychiatric facility. While his mother Mary Desroches,(born in Cornerbrook, Newfoundland) worked at a local factory before it relocated, then as a custodian at the local high school while raising Thomas,and putting him through school.
His father had a massive heart attack at the young age of 45 due to congenital defects, and a history of smoking. He received a heart transplant the following year.
His father’s illness prompted Thomas to pursue a career in nursing. Thomas would follow in his father’s footsteps working at the maximum secure psychiatric facility on and off for over 13 yrs. He also worked throughout the states "travel nursing" for several years. Having traveled across the united states, working in Cities such as Charlotte, NC. Wilmington, NC. Philadelphia, PA. Riverside CA. Los Angeles CA. and Las Vegas NV. he developed a multitude of skills and new relationships before heading home after his father passed away in 2013.
Thomas was very close to his mother and father being an only child. Thomas took the news very hard. He quit his full time job and moved to Las Vegas to play poker and try to fulfill a lifelong dream of becoming a poker pro. Thomas would work part time while in Las Vegas maintaining his nursing skills.
Before long Thomas and his girlfriend at the time, who just completed training to become a flight attendant, decided they would have to relocate as her new job was stationed in Vancouver. Thomas put his house up for sale and packed up what they could and made the cross country trek. With a loose cat and a stressed out girlfriend, they finally arrived in BC. After only 7 days, not yet unpacked, Thomas received a phone call. His rock, his mother had passed away tragically as a passenger in a automobile accident. Thomas returned home to tend to the affairs, but soon returned to BC to start a new life with his girlfriend, cat and a different perspective on life. Trying to live life to the fullest, Thomas has been exploring BC and all it has to offer, He hopes to get involved in the film industry, as this has always been a life long dream. Also, he applied for a job as a bartender. Something which he knew nothing about. The manager decided to take a chance, hired him with no experience, just a smile, a beard, and a great personality. Then COVID....Need I say more? Welp Thomas returned to Nursing in addictions to help with the Opioid crisis and the fight against COVID, and so the battle continues. Meanwhile Thomas is currently awaiting his first big break into TV and Movies while fighting the good fight.................to be continued.
